Senior UI/UX Designer

Summary

A strategic and user-centered Senior UIUX Designer responsible for driving end-to-end product experience across Bank Islam digital channel. This role goes beyond execution, focusing on design systems, experience consistency, and mentoring junior designers while collaborating closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design across Bank Islam Digital Channel and related touchpoints
• Translate business and user needs into intuitive, scalable design solutions
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Ensure consistency and quality of experience across all user touchpoints
• Own and maintain the design system, including standards and design patterns
• Establish and enforce design guidelines and best practices
• Conduct design reviews to ensure alignment and quality
• Mentor and guide junior designers and interns
• Provide feedback to improve team output and design quality
• Collaborate closely with Product Owner, Engineers, and stakeholders
• Present and communicate design decisions effectively
• Leverage user research, feedback, and data to improve experience
• Identify usability issues and drive continuous improvements
• Contribute to product strategy and advocate for user-centric design

Qualification

• Degree in Design, Multimedia, IT or any related field
• 5-10 years experience in related field/industry
• Experienced as a UI/UX Designer as well as a strong portfolio of related projects
• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics
• Excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate ideas, designs, and suggestions
• Strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
• Basic HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript skills and able to draw freehand illustration are a plus
