Assistant Manager, Business Development & Strategy Relations - SME Banking

Job Description: 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head of Division in the Division’s overall business operations and management.
  • Source and onboard business partners/merchants/government agencies / Association relevant to SME’s App
  • Plan and execute campaigns to drive SMEs App usage, active rate, download and  to ensure more leads generate to bank
  • Responsible to assist the retail manager in planning all online promotions
  • Propose online sales & strategy on e-commerce platforms including planning & organizing promotional activities
  • Plan & prepare promotion calendar & ensure all promotions are executed as per the timeline set
  • Conduct competitors study, activities and campaigns and provide improvement or strategy refinement
  • Conduct business development activities to expand the market footprint
  • Liaising with the Business Chamber of Commerce within the market.
  • Strategic tie-ups with Business Principles for promoting financing programs
  • Assist Division Head to develop and recommend business strategies & marketing plans for endorsement by Management and Board of Directors;
  • High level internal and external communication dealing with various departments/divisions within the organization, as well as dealing with senior-level contacts in customers’ organization, industry bodies and external organizations.
  • Build Bank Islam Malaysia’s brand by communicating the relevant benefits to customers and the public;
  • Ensure adherence and compliance to all internal policies/guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
  • Perform any other duties/assignments as and when directed/assigned by the superior as per business requirements from time to time.
