Assistant Manager, IT Infrastructure (Connectivity)

Summary
Responsibilities for the operation and administration of the company’s internal and external network services.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of wide area network and local area network facilities nationwide
• Participate in network designing, installation, monitoring and maintenance activity
• Manage Installation, monitoring and maintaining Network and communication Equipment.
• Participate in new products, technology & processes evaluation for service improvement
• Responsible for Resources capacity monitoring, demand, planning and upgrading
• Manage & Troubleshoot network problems and work with vendors to ensure problems are resolved in a timely manner. Ensure problem rectification and escalation is done accordingly
• Document infrastructure, processes and configuration inventory of related components.
• Active role in BRCP activities.
• Responsible for complying with both IT Policies and Enterprise Information Security Policies.
• Provide ‘Resource on Duty’ support in weekly rotation basis
• Manage and operate BAU firewall request submitted by end user
• Manage and troubleshoot firewall connection issues and work with vendors problems are resolved in a timely manner. Ensure problem rectification and escalation is done accordingly
• Manage all registered bankislam domain names
• Compile monthly data and statistics for reporting purposes
• Responsible to be assigned to work on any other Infrastructure Services other than the one currently in the JD by
  Head of IT Network Infrastructure (Connectivity)
• Responsible for any other duties and assignments as directed by Director, Technology Services.
