Assistant Manager, IT Strategy & Planning

Summary

The Assistant Manager of IT Strategy is responsible to assist the Head of IT Strategy in managing the Strategic Initiatives

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Assist in monitoring and coordinating execution of IT initiatives under IT Blueprint plan.
  • Assist in structuring and managing the initiatives to be undertaken at project level.
  • Assist in preparing the reporting to Management and Board of Directors on the execution of the overall IT Blueprint plan.
  • Assist in conducting revision to the IT Blueprint plan as and when needed.

 

Management Meeting

  • Assist in the preparation and /or consolidation of the materials for Management meeting, i,e MITC, MANCO, MRCC and BOARD and ensure timely submission to Secretarial Department.
  • Plan, manage and review reports and presentation materials for various Management meetings:
    • MITC
    • MRCC/ MANCO
    • TECA/ TECB
    • BRC/BITC/ BOD

 

Reporting

  • Assist in planning, manage and oversee the preparation, compilation and tracking of Bankwide IT Budget (CAPEX & OPEX), Technology Division Budget (HR manpower budget, General Admin budget, etc), and IT Cost Management.
  • Assist in planning and manage the day-to-day operations of IT Strategy and Planning including tracking of various Technology Division’s achievement :
    • IT Project Status
    • IT KPI/ SLA
    • IT Manpower and Training
  • Assist in the planning and coordinate Strategic Initiatives within IT and possibly Business teams for purpose of improving IT SLA delivery for IT projects and IT Operations.
  • To review internal approval memo/proposal prior to submission for approval by CTO, CFO and CEO.
  • Respond to various requests and queries from CEO Office, Finance, BIMB Holdings, other BIMB subsidiaries and internal/external auditors.

 

Others

  • Ensure adherence and compliance to all internal policies/guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
  • Any other duties/assignment as and when directed/assigned by the superior as per operation/business requirement from time to time.
