Job Responsibilities

 

  • Assist the SME Industrial Hire Purchase Head in the overall Industrial Hire Purchase business operations and management.
  • Actively market a wide range of equipment financing products to suppliers of equipment and originate SME Banking financing products, deposit products, corporate cards and Takaful for new customers.
  • Strategic alliance with potential dealers and drive business to the bank.
  • Plan and identify cross-selling/up-selling to increase customer’s product holding and revenue
  • Work closely with the SME Business Center Manager, SME Relationship Manager and branches to cross-sell/sell to obtain new/potential business opportunities.
  • Responsive to obtaining new business opportunities in the achievement of sales and core KPI / meeting and exceeding individual sales targets by contributing to the bank’s business in line with LEAP25’s strategy.
  • Acquire, establish and maintain close relationships and network with the Bank’s valued customers and other business stakeholders;
  • Maintain and manage customers, suppliers and vendor relationships, cross-sell bank’s products and services, and monitor the growth and quality of the business portfolio in order to meet the target.
  • Structure credit proposition to suit customer’s requirements and assess customer’s creditability based on financial.
  • Manage peer relationships with Business Units and Business Support within the SME Banking Division as well as other departments/divisions within the bank;
  • Work closely with Credit Analyst and Business Center Manager to prepare credit proposals and obtain approval from respective FinancingCommittees
  • Work closely with the Credit Analyst and Business Center Manager to prepare a Letter of Offer and liaise with the Credit Administration for the completion of security documentation.
  • Work closely with other Business Development Units (internal & external) in promoting Bank Islam products and services.
  • Working closely with external business development bodies to promote Islamic Industrial Hire Purchase market segments;
  • Conduct site inspection for pre-drawdown cases.
  • Manage the disbursement and/or activation process and liaise with the Sales Support Team and Credit Admin Department.
  • Ensure adherence and compliance to all internal policies/guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
  • Perform any other duties/assignments as and when directed/assigned by the superior as per business requirement from time to time.

Job Requirements

 

  • At least 3 years of working experience in marketing of Industrial Hire Purchase i.e., machines, transportations etc.
  • Good Communication and Writing Skills
  • Good learning attitude and pleasant personality to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Resourceful and Creative
  • Good Interpersonal Skill
  • High integrity and professionalism
