Summary

Responsible to follow-up and perform negotiations of payments for write-off accounts and ensure legal actions i.e. foreclosure/civil is initiated to recover bad debt.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. To establish contact with customers and other parties (guarantor/2nd customer) via phone, letter, email, or SMS to negotiate for payment or in order to pursue with collection activities (i.e., ATP, AKPK, meeting, site visit, skip tracing, auction, legal action)
  2. To identify probability of recovery of bank’s bad debt by way of legal procedures/foreclosures.
  3. To ensure review of all accounts are done by analyzing and assessing customer’s position to determine the appropriateness in recommending collection activities (payment arrangement/Litigation, etc.).
  4. To submit accounts for SV/IMS or internal search for un-contactable customers.
  5. To attend to any inquiries/letters/emails from customers or other business partners on the account.
  6. To attend to any complaint received from customers, Customer Care, Contact Centre, Branch etc. within stipulated timeframe.
  7. To prepare proposal paper for Settlement with Ibra’ or Arrangement-To-Pay (ATP) and to obtain approval from relevant authorities.
  8. To prepare Letter of Offers for settlement with Ibra’ and ATP and to update info in Volare/CBS.
  9. To prepare release letters for settled accounts and ensure tagging is placed into the system.
  10. To prepare any report requested by Unit Head/Superior/other parties and submit within the time frame given.
  11. To set off savings or current account if requested by customer or if the customer is un-contactable.
  12. To update Volare/CBS on resolutions reached for further action.
  13. To attend training or course as approved by the Bank.
  14. To perform any other duties/assignment as and when directed/assigned by the superior from time to time as per business requirement.
  15. To ensure adherence and compliance with all internal policies/guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
