Job Description: 

Summary

Responsible for day-to-day operation of IT Operation towards increasing operational efficiency, compliance with the Bank’s policy, standards and procedures and other regulatory requirements.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day operation of the IT Operation towards increasing operational efficiency;
  • Perform daily operation job, service availability monitoring, logs review & handling issues;
  • Perform End Day Processing, data backup, troubleshooting & escalation;
  • Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and efficiency in handling and resolving customers’ complaints and issues;
  • Perform operations to ensure that policies and procedures are being complied;
  • Responsible to comply with operating procedures for IT Operation and ensure that all production applications are completed on time, in a manner which is secure and reliable;
  • Monitor the data centre for unusual events and reports potential violations to the security team;
  • Restricts physical access to the Data Center to allow only authorized personnel;
  • Active role in Business Continuity Plan (BCP) / Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) activities;
  • Ensure job request is completed in timely manner and closed on time;
  • Close incident tickets assigned in timely manner;
  • Any other duties/assignment as and when directed/assigned by the superior as per operation / business requirement from time to time.
