Job Description: 

Duties & Responsibilties

 

  • Merchant Performance & Cost Optimization:

    • Review and assess merchant performance annually, identifying opportunities for cost rationalization and performance improvements.
  • Merchant Agreement Management:

    • Monitor and manage the validity, expiry, and stamping of all merchant agreements to ensure timely renewals and compliance.
  • EDC POS Terminal Applications:

    • Record, process, and manage all applications for Electronic Data Capture (EDC) POS terminals received from Sales Managers, branches, and other channels.
  • e-Commerce Applications Management:

    • Record, update, and process all e-Commerce applications received through various channels, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Document & File Management:

    • Maintain and properly file all business and operational documents related to merchant acquiring, ensuring easy access and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Merchant File Maintenance:

    • Ensure that all corporate merchant files are consistently updated, well-organized, and stored securely.
  • Merchant Cancellations & Refunds:

    • Assist in the processing of merchant cancellations and refunds, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of all related requests.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:

    • Ensure strict adherence to all internal policies, guidelines, and external regulatory requirements related to merchant acquiring and processing.
       

Job Requirements

  • Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Fresh graduate or at least 1-2 years of experience in the card business or banking industry.
  • Proactively takes ownership of responsibilities, identifying and resolving issues within their area of responsibility while anticipating potential challenges.
  • Facilitates the smooth implementation of plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, course of action, and deliverables.
  • Actively supports the team in executing strategic plans to meet business objectives.
  • Works collaboratively with team members, willingly taking on additional responsibilities to ensure team goals are met or exceeded.
