Associate, Telemarketer - Card Business Department

Summary

Responsible to perform outbound calls to promote the Bank Islam Card acquisition, portfolio products,

activation process and card retention purposes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reaching out to potential customers over the phone to promote various existing portfolio credit cards products such as Balance transfer, Go Cash and new cards acquisition.
• Generating leads, acquire new customers and upsell or cross sell existing customers on additional banking products; to increase the product holding to the bank.
• Establish a good relationship with the other distribution channels such as branches and other internal stakeholders.
• Proactively approach clients to establish real needs, understand the client and their requirements, and interest them in BIMB’s products.
• Provide advice and product information to clients as appropriate, outlining features and benefits.
• Build and maintain new and existing customer relationships.
• Perform the necessary processes, procedures, and verbal dialogues to effectively customize offers and cross sell an expansive set of products and services to new and existing customers.
• Achieve or exceed decided sales targets.
• Others task that are assigned by the reporting manager from time to time.
• To ensure adherence and compliance to all internal policies/guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
• To carry out any other duties/assignment as and when directed/assigned by the superior as per business requirement from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Degree in any related discipline or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in card business system support or product development.
• Good communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
• Experience of working in fast-moving business environment.
• Maintaining high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Good leadership skills with ability to multi-tasking, highly numerate with great attention to details.
• Be an assertive and innovative team player, highly independent, committed, self- motivated, resourceful and result oriented.
