Functional Test Lead
Summary
The Senior Test Lead of IT Test Management is responsible to perform and lead system integration testing as well testing management plan for Bank’s related application and system.
Duties and Responsibilities
Practice standard test processes and procedures in accordance to Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) and Test Center of Excellence (TCoE) governances.
Perform common testing fundamental understanding that cover functional testing or any other that suitable for executions and testing deliverables.
Execute and practice guided testing management for all testing demands that in accordance to IT Test Management Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Coordinate the standard quality testing for project system testing and application enhancement testing approved by SEWG.
Participate and performing IT Project Implementation in relation to testing scenarios coverages that include System Integration Testing (SIT), System interfaces and System connectivity testing.
Participate and assisting PMO/Business User Testing process for new project and existing application enhancement.
Prepare, compile and safekeeping the necessary procedures or documentations including Test Strategy & Plan, Script, Execution and completed test Result.
Able to lead a team or workgroup based on the testing demand, advise and direction by the superior.
Lead the testing execution projects with less supervisions and work within the team by overseeing the entire testing process as well as mentoring team member, documenting testing artifacts on timely manner.
Prepare and compile ITTM monthly performance and achievement report to Head of IT Test Management
Ensure adherence and compliance to all internal policies / guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
Any other duty / assignment as and when directed / assigned by the superior as per operations/ business requirement from time to time.
Qualification
Degree in any disciplines preferably in IT or equivalent experience
Years of Experience
More than 8 years experience in banking industry or any other industries with experience in test planning, test design, test executions, test reports and testing managements that follows STLC/ TCoE/ TMMi guidance.
Working and leading a team of more than 3 or 5 people for a project
Well verse leading several parallel testing executions
Specific Skills/Knowledge and Certification Required
Able to evaluate alternatives objectively and make effective, realistic and timely decision and recommendation
Be an assertive and innovative team player, highly independent, committed, self-motivated, resourceful and result-oriented.
Ability to network across a variety of functions at various levels.
Ability to multi-task, highly numerical with great attention to detail and work with various levels of people.
Experience of working in fast-moving business environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong computer skills (e.g. MS. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Able to work under pressure to meet datelines.
Having additional testing certification (e.g CTFL) will be added advantages.
Experiences in working and using any testing tools or applications.
