The Digital Transformation (DT) team at Bank Islam is committed to delivering seamless digital experiences by integrating multiple systems and services across platforms. The Integration Analyst will play a critical role in connecting internal and external systems to ensure smooth data flow, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting the bank's digital strategy.
Position Summary
As an Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions that connect systems and applications within Bank Islam’s digital ecosystem. This role requires collaborating with developers, product managers, and external partners to ensure efficient data flow, minimize integration issues, and optimize processes. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in integration tools, APIs, and data management, with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Primary Responsibilities
• Manage scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure using AWS services to ensure high availability, security, and performance of cloud resources and components (related to developers' experience) for day-to-day application development operations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise. Proactively optimize the performance, availability, and cost-efficiency of cloud resources.
• Possess knowledge and experience with CI/CD pipelines using AWS-native services like CodePipeline, CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CloudFormation, as well as deployment to Container and Kubernetes environments using AWS services such as EKS, ECS, and Fargate.
• Possess knowledge and experience with ArgoCD or a relevant tool to streamline and automate application deployments in the cloud. Design and maintain ArgoCD pipelines for different environments.
• Possess knowledge and experience with SonarQube or a relevant tool and integrate it into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Collaborate with development teams to configure SonarQube rules and provide actionable feedback.
• Demonstrate expertise in implementing and configuring shift-left security practices and platforms, utilizing tools such as SAST, SCA, DAST, container scanning, and other relevant security tools.
• Implement security best practices for cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Collaborate with security teams to conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Enhance and maintain existing custom or off-the-shelf platforms and tools, such as IDP, monitoring systems, alert systems, feature flags, etc.
• Understand internal customers' functional and technical requirements for internal platform development.
• Assist in maintaining the code repository.
• Design and Implement Integration Solutions: Develop and implement solutions to integrate internal and external systems, ensuring seamless data exchange across platforms.
• Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, developers, and external partners to understand integration requirements and design optimal solutions.
• Monitor and Troubleshoot Integrations: Proactively monitor integration processes, identifying and resolving issues promptly to maintain high system performance.
Technology Stack
• Tools: Postman, SOAP, REST APIs, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
• Languages: SQL, JavaScript, XML, JSON (for data exchange and transformation)
• Frameworks: Familiarity with middleware and integration frameworks for effective data and system connectivity.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
Years of Experience
3–5 years of experience in systems integration, data management, or a related field.
Specific Skills / Knowledge and Certification Required
Strong experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and CloudFormation.
Has strong proficiency and experience in AWS CDK using Python
Proficiency in ArgoCD for declarative continuous deployment and SonarQube for static code analysis or relevant tools.
In-depth knowledge of AWS CI/CD components, such as CodePipeline, CodeCommit, CodeBuild, and CloudFormation, including experience with GitOps deployment to Container and Kubernetes environments utilizing AWS services like EKS, ECS, and Fargate.
Experience in implementing and configuring shift-left security practices and platforms, including tools such as SAST, SCA, DAST, container scanning, and similar security measures.
Hands-on experience with operational tasks, monitoring, and troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure.
Familiarity with security best practices in the cloud, including access controls, encryption, and compliance standards.
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and infrastructure-as-code.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle and resolve operational issues efficiently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or similar are a plus.
Integration Expertise: Proficient with integration tools like Postman and experience in designing and implementing SOAP and REST APIs.
Data Management and Transformation: Strong skills in data mapping, transformation (XML, JSON), and managing data flows across systems.
