Job Description: 


Reporting to Vice President, Personal Financing and to assist in developing and implementing the right Strategic Business Model to to achieve the targeted Portfolio Asset Growth, Product Profitability, Product Development and managing impaired financing at a desired level.


Duties and Responsibilities


Portfolio Asset Growth

  • To contribute in the formulation and execution of Personal Financing strategy, business plans and to achieve the target growths of Personal Financing Asset portfolio.
  • To implement strategies and business plans to attract and increase Personal Financing take up rate.


Business Development

  • To develop new and review of Personal Financing in order to suit the current market needs and to harmonize with Bank strategies.
  • To innovate Personal Financing in the aspect of product delivery, unique selling propositions, alternative sales channel promotional materials and marketing campaigns.
  • To promote, protect and improve Personal Financing and Bank Islam brand reputation and presence amongst the selected target market.
  • To build and promote appropriate sales and service culture within Retail Banking that meets and exceeds customer expectation in a cost-effective manner.
  • To drive, increase customer satisfaction via enhancement   of products and service to attract, retain and grow Personal Financing customers.
  • To develop process improvements and identity opportunities to improve procedures in order to continuously improve the product as well as customer experience.
  • Maintain close liaison with all concerned department, including Risk Management, Credit Management, Shariah Division, Legal Division, Compliance Division, Branch Operations, and others external parties.


Performance Review

  • To conduct periodic product analytic, portfolio health check, local market analysis, current market practice in order to remain competitive and relevant in the market.
  • To conduct analysis on Product Profitability (Fee Based and Fund Based), identify opportunity to maximize revenue, and recommend the best profit rate to remain competitive in the market.
  • To handle monthly reporting on business performance, portfolio performance including TOS and impaired accounts as well as analysis and recommending actions plans.
  • To take remedial action if the result/ performance is not as per desired level.
  • Be part of continuous process improvement by other stakeholders and implement changes as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence and compliance to all internal policies/guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
  • Any other duties/assignment as and when directed/assigned by the superior as per business requirement from time to time.


Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experiences in Personal Financing.
  • Excellent in analytic and risk management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal with good business acumen
  • Be an assertive and innovative team player, highly independent, committed, self-motivated, resourceful and result oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task, highly numerate with great attention to detail.
  • A team player in a dynamic and fast-moving business environment.
