Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Product Manager to lead the development of personalisation and customer engagement features within our digital banking platform. The role involves managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, driving innovation, and delivering hyper-personalised experiences that meet diverse customer needs while supporting the bank’s strategic growth objectives.

 

This position requires a strong background in user-centric design, data-driven decision-making, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for customer experience and personalisation features, aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and customer feedback analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and feature optimisation.

 

Product Development

  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to post-launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, compliance, and marketing teams to create customer-centric, scalable solutions.

 

Performance Monitoring & Analytics

  • Define and track product KPIs (e.g., engagement, retention, Net Promoter Score) to evaluate feature performance and guide enhancements.
  • Utilise A/B testing and user analytics to refine features and make data-driven decisions.

 

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure that customer-facing features comply with relevant banking regulations, AML, and data privacy requirements.
  • Work closely with compliance and legal teams to navigate regulatory challenges.

 

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment on product goals and priorities.
  • Communicate product updates, progress, and performance insights to stakeholders.

 

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.

Years of Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record in banking and/or fintech.

Specific Skills/Knowledge and Certification Required

Skills

  • Strategic Product Management: Expertise in defining product visions, roadmaps, and managing lifecycles in Agile environments.
  • Banking & Fintech Expertise: Deep understanding of banking products (e.g., deposits, loans) and fintech innovations (e.g., open banking, digital payments).
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills to define KPIs, measure success, and iterate on products.
  • Customer-Centric Design: Ability to design personalized, user-friendly solutions based on customer insights.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage relationships with vendors and partners.

 

Certification

  • Any certification in Product Management, Agile or Scrum is an added advantage
