Primary Functions:

 

A systems analyst is a person who uses analysis and design techniques to solve business problems using information technology. Systems analysts may serve as change agents who identify the organisational improvements needed, design systems to implement those changes, and train and motivate others to use the systems.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Work closely with Enterprise Architect, Business Architect and IT Personnel to understand the system’s functional and non-functional requirements
  • Analyses the requirements, translate into programming solutions, and ensure identified solutions meet business needs and expectations
  • Manage development plans, business proposals, budgets, delivery time estimates and meeting those time estimates
  • Maintain computer systems and programming guidelines according to policies & procedures
  • Maintain business continuity controls and documents (e.g. API specification, technical IDD specification), requirement updates in Confluence.
  • Prepare user business process documents, requirement specification documents, user manual and operations manual SOP.
  • Produce specifications for documentations and implementations
  • Identify and raise the potential opportunity during the assessment and development stage.
  • Conduct gap analysis of current processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Willing to learn new technologies and keep up with the latest and greatest technology developments.

 

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or any related field

Years of Experience

  • 3 – 5 years working experience

Specific Skills / Knowledge and Certification Required

 

  • Passionate in software development.
  • Experience in banking system will be an added advantage.
  • Working knowledge of a wide variety of programming languages
  • Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
  • Able to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas.
  • Good understanding of security best practices.
  • Strong communication and presentation skill.
  • Self-motivated, high team spirit and team plater to achieve common objective.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks with limited supervision.
  • Passionate about new technologies.
