Job Description: 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

Sales & Performance Management

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of credit card sales executives to achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs.
  • Drive credit card acquisition growth through sales initiatives, campaigns, and customer engagement activities.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and implement corrective actions to address performance gaps.
  • Execute sales strategies and initiatives in line with business objectives.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to enhance sales productivity and product knowledge.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, sales coaching sessions, and on-the-job training.
  • Support onboarding, training, and continuous capability development of sales staff.
  • Foster a performance-driven, ethical, and compliant sales culture.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to bank policies, SOPs, regulatory requirements, and sales conduct guidelines. 
  • Monitor sales quality, documentation accuracy, and submission turnaround time.
  • Address audit findings, complaints, and sales-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Promote ethical selling practices and uphold zero tolerance for mis-selling.

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including Product, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth end-to-end sales execution.
  • Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and sales initiatives.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Prepare and submit regular sales performance and productivity reports to management. 
  • Analyze sales trends and team performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance overall sales effectiveness.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in credit card sales, consumer banking, or related financial services.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of credit card products, features, pricing, and acquisition processes.
  • Good knowledge of banking policies, regulatory requirements, and sales governance.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Excellent sales planning, execution, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Analytical and results-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer focus.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a target-driven environment.
  • Willingness to support sales campaigns or extended hours when required.
