Job Description: 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure all marketing projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards of the Bank.
  • Monitor project progress, be able to identify and address potential issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain a structured workflow and tracking system.
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives are rooted in customer insights, trends, and behaviors to strengthen relevance and engagement.
  • Support the development of annual marketing plans and strategies by translating strategic objectives into actionable initiatives and collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Accountable for business revenue growth in line with KPI and results tracking and quick to revise plans to meet revised KPIs.
  • Perform any other duties or assignments as directed by the superior or as required by the business from time to time.
  • To support Group Retail Banking’s Business Units/Product owners in the implementation of Campaigns (planned or Ad Hoc) to ensure execution excellence as well as fulfilling targeted Sales and ROI.
  • To ensure full comprehension of the media strategy. The manager will be responsible for implementing roll out of the media plan and media buy placements, ensuring the targeted segments are reached at the most cost-efficient manner.
  • Managing the implementation and coordination of the development and production of all marketing and promotion materials required for marketing activities and are of agreed quality.
  • Inspect the layouts and advertising copy as well as editing of radio commercial scripts and any other promotional materials for adherence to specifications and approvals.
  • To ensure all materials developed has been approved by the identified stakeholders and is in full compliance with the Bank’s policy, manual and guideline.
  • Support and assist with sponsorship requests from Business units and branches.
  • Oversee compilation of sponsorship results and present to committee as and when required, on a periodic basis.


Job requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing, advertising, the media industry, or other related fields.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong business acumen.
  • Assertive and innovative team player who is highly independent, committed, self-motivated, resourceful, and results-oriented.
  • Well-organised and detail-oriented, with strong attention to accuracy.
  • Strong networking ability, capable of collaborating across various functions and levels within the organisation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good knowledge of both digital and traditional media platforms.
